Between 1 July and 19 September 2026, Osprey issued 88 notifications to clients - consisting of 56 critical alerts, 9 situation updates and 14 Squawks – highlighting the escalation in Saudi Arabia related to the wider Middle East conflict. Since July, there has been an increase in Yemeni Houthi drone and missile attacks into Saudi Arabia, in particular targeting oil facilities in Yanbu on the Red Sea coast and on sensitive sites in the capital, Riyadh. Conversely, there has been an increase in Saudi-led coalition strikes into Yemen targeting Houthi positions. The increase in Houthi activity is also due in part to Iran calling on support amid the war with the US, which Osprey continues to alert on.
